Borderlands Online Cancelled, As 2k China Has Closed
Take-Two interactive has officially cancelled 2K China. The studio, based in Shanghai, employed around 150 people so as to develop a new multiplayer game based on Gearbox’s popular shoot-and-loot series made for Asia, however the game is not currently under development. In addition, its developer, 2K China, has closed. Parent publisher Take-Two Interactive has officially announced that,”At this time, we can confirm that we are closing 2K China. Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford says that the game environment for of the upcoming Borderlands game, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, is supposedly bigger than the original game but is smaller than Borderlands 2. He said in an interview with PC Gamer – “We’re still getting a grasp on scope.” “It’s pretty big. I don’t think it’s going to be as big as Borderlands 2.
