Game4u has announced that they will be organizing a midnight launch for the PlayStation 4 at Game4u stores across the country. This launch will take place on 5th January 2014 at the following stores:
- Mega Mall (Oshiwara, Mumbai)
- Infiniti Mall (Malad, Mumbai)
- Linking Road (Bandra, Mumbai)
- MGF Metropolis Mall (Gurgaon)
- MBD Neopolis Mall (Ludhiana)
- Elante Mall (Chandigarh)
Game4u has also mentioned that they will be getting limited PS4 stock, so if you do plan on buying your PlayStation 4 from India, you’ll need to pre-order it to guarantee a day one console. That being said, accessories such as the DualShock 4 controller as well as the PlayStation 4 Eye Camera will be available at the launch alongside both first party titles – Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack.
The PlayStation 4 launches in India on 6th January, 2014 for Rs. 39,990. Both Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack will cost Rs. 3,999 each while the DualShock 4 controller and the PlayStation 4 Eye Camera will set you back by Rs. 4,990 each. Besides Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack, there are eight other PS4 games you can expect during launch week. These are:
- Lego: Marvel Super Heroes – Rs. 2,499
- Injustice Gods Among Us: Ultimate Edition – Rs. 2,499
- Need for Speed: Rivals – Rs. 4,499
- Battlefield 4 – Rs, 4,499
- FIFA 14 – Rs. 4,499
- Just Dance 2014 – Rs. 2,999
- NBA 2K14 – Rs. 2,999
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Rs. 3,499
