Ho ho ho! Winter is upon us and celebrating the festivities, Blizzard has announced the start date for the Winter Event for Overwatch.

The announcement was made by Blizzard’s Twitter account, showcasing the King’s Row map decked out in snow with a greeting card inviting the players to join the event starting 13th December. This event will add new and exclusive skins, emotes and sprays giving you the option to dress up and customize your heroes as you like.
Overwatch has taken the world by a storm, winning the Game of the Year Award at The Game Awards this year. It has a strong of community of about 20 million players and has had a host of events in the past, including the Olympics event (Lucio-ball) and the Halloween event.
