NVIDIA’s Gamer Connect 2017 Comes To Ahmedabad

NVIDIA hosted Gamer Connect 2017 in Ahmedabad at Montecristo Banquet, Sardar Patel Ring Road today. The second edition of the company’s flagship gamer engagement event saw a turnaround of more than 1600 gaming enthusiasts. Gamer Connect is a platform for the Indian gaming community to bond, interact and explore new avenues in gaming and simultaneously experience the latest technologies introduced to PC gaming. Earlier this year, NVIDIA hosted their first event in Kolkata in April, where they successfully generated a lot of excitement among gaming enthusiasts.

The event partners Dell and LG also displayed their latest products. LG showcased its gaming monitor range for both casual and competitive gamers. Gamers were enthralled to witness AAA games like Mass Effect: Andromeda, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands on LG’s Curved 21:9 Ultrawide, 4K and 144Hz Monitors.

“NVIDIA is really proud of Gamer Connect, the flagship event started in 2015 with just 300 gamers. Today through various activities we have connected with close to 3 million gamers online. It’s an event that connects gamers across the country and shows them the best gaming experience available. We want to bring the Indian gaming industry at par with international standards, widen horizons and hone their skills to test them against other gamers worldwide through such initiatives!” said Vamsi Krishna, Head – Consumer Marketing, South Asia, NVIDIA during the event.

At the event NVIDIA showcased GeForce GTX graphic cards featuring the latest Pascal architecture. The participants experienced cutting edge technologies like Virtual Reality and 4K, and immersed themselves in the gaming world.

On exhibition also, was Dell’s latest laptops packed with GeForce GTX 10-series. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 1070, 1060 and 1050 GPUs for notebooks provide gamers with a quantum leap in performance and power efficiency in the world’s fastest-growing gaming platform. Compared with prior-generation Maxwell architecture-based GPUs, the new GTX 10-Series GPUs for notebooks deliver up to 75 percent more performance right out of the box.
