Destiny 2 is a big deal, let’s face it. After the success of the first title, Bungie and Activision are bringing the sequel to PC and we couldn’t be more excited. What’s more exciting is the fact that following the recent console beta, PC gamers will also get a chance to try the beta in August. So, what do you need to be able to run this game? Let’s find out.
Recommended specs:
- CPU: Intel – Core i5-2400 / AMD – Ryzen R5 1600X
- GPU: Nvidia – GeForce GTX 970 / AMD – Radeon R9 390
- RAM: 8GB
Minimum specs:
- CPU: Intel – Core i3-3250 / AMD – FX-4350
- GPU: Nvidia – GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD – Radeon HD 7850 2GB
- RAM: 6GB
Surprisingly, the requirements don’t seem that demanding. We were expecting them to be a bit higher, considering that both the CPU and GPU required for the minimum specs are pretty old. One thing that this is missing, however, the hard drive space. The game will also support multiple modes and features, including:
- Uncapped framerate
- 4K resolution support
- Mouse and Keyboard support
- Controller support
- Custom key mapping
- Text chat
- Adjustable field of view
- 21:9 monitor support
Looks like its time to gear up, folks! Let us know what you think about the game and required specs in the comments. Destiny 2 is set out to release on 6th September for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and 24th October on the PC.
