Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Gets Delayed, Again

It seems like things may not be going as smoothly as planned by CI Games. Their highly anticipated, upcoming title Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 has been delayed yet again, this time to April 2017. The studio wants to further polish and optimize the performance for the title, which is presently under development for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. “We’re making an ambitious game and unfortunately still need an extra few months to make sure it will stand up to the expectations of the fans,” said CEO Marek Tymiński. “Our goal is to ensure Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 runs smoothly on all platforms, and right now we still have some important work left on optimizing the game. This is our biggest project we’ve ever worked on and the entire team is pushing really hard to make the entire experience more...

Robinson: The Journey Coming To PS VR In November

Crytek’s upcoming PlayStation VR project, Robinson: The Journey may not have been a launch title for the PS VR, but the wait is over. The highly anticipated dinosaur themed sci-fi adventure is set to launch in November, according to the game’s Twitter account. The game seems to be a great platform to show off the PS 4’s VR capabilities, where players can explore an alive environment, aided by a robot guide somewhat similar to Portal 2.  In addition to The Climb, this project marks two games that Crytek is developing for VR. Though Robinson is exclusive to the PS VR, The Climb will be available for the Oculus Rift. It also marks the second time that the studio will be shifting focus in recent years, the first time being shortly before the launch of Crysis 3, when CEO Cebat...

PS 4 Pro Will Support SATA 3.0 Interface

In an interview with 4Gamer, Sony Interactive Entertainment Engineering Chief Masayasu Ito had said that the both the PS 4 Slim and the upcoming PS 4 Pro will feature support for SATA 2.0 Hard drives. However, they have now corrected that statement, clarifying that the PS 4 Pro will actually use the SATA 3.0 Interface for the hard drives. This is bound to increase the transfer rate from 3 Gbit/s to 6 Gbit/s, a double in transfer speed. As a result, the performance concerning the data storage and transfer for the upcoming console is expected to improve tremendously. Installation times and loading times should come down by a huge margin as well, but real-time tests are required to know for sure. You can read the original interview on 4Gamer. Rise Of The Tomb Raider Review (PC, PS4, XBONE)

The game begins in a fantastic way.  A typical Tomb Raider beginning. She was on a cliff-face climbing to the top of a mountain to find the lost city, when the entire mountain pass was struck by a lightening storm which starts an avalanche. What I loved about this was that sheer desperation I felt, that kick to the head that made me role play. The fact that if I didn’t move I will die made me clutch that controller and just run like hell! This game is extremely great in the action it delivers because there are just so many moments when sh*t just goes crazy and surviving is just a matter of quick reflexes, and they are fast, in combat and in exploration, you rarely find yourself struggling with the controls. It’s a refreshing touch after having cursed Assassin’s Creed Synd...

The Smallest Gun In History, Only On Battlefield 1

We have seen a ton of content from Battlefield 1 in the past few weeks, and it seems like the game has much more in store for us. As DICE claims, this may be the best single player campaign the company has ever made. It seems that the game may also feature what is the smallest gun in the history of guns. Known as the 2.7mm Kolibri Car Pistol, it fires a three grain projectile at about 650 feet per second, and was manufactured shortly before WW1. The production was ceased due to demand for military weapons for the war. However, the Battlefield 1 universe deems the gun fit for use in battle, and you can have it. The gun reminds us of the Noisy Cricket from Men In Black, but doesn’t seems to half as powerful. It seems fair, though, considering you won’t be fighting aliens in WW1. ...

On its Kickstarter page, developer Gin Media announced that their upcoming horror-fest, Friday the 13th: The Game has been delayed to 2017. The game will be released initially in Spring, with multiplayer maps. The single player, on the other hand, will be released later during the summer. Specific dates haven’t been announced for either launch. Here’s the catch, though. Everyone who has already contributed to the game’s Kickstarter page will get the single player experience for free. “The first thing people are going to read here is delay,” the announcement said. ̶...
