Amnesia: The Dark Descent first came out in 2010, and became an instant favourite of horror fans, thanks to its novel reimagining of the genre. The aim in Amnesia is not to kill the monsters with an arsenal at your disposal, but to progress through a mysterious castle with minimal resources, avoiding contact with the nightmarish creatures in order to survive. Since it’s release, Amnesia has inspired a lot of horror games, in addition to helping PewDiePie build an identity (check out some of his old videos). However, The Dark Descent, its sequel, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and the side project Amnesia: Justine have been restricted to the Windows PC, Mac and Linux. Until now. All the three titles will make their way to the PlayStation 4 as part of the Amnesia collection, set to releas...

Red Dead Redemption was a sprawling depiction of the wild west, brimming with personality, with adventures and dangers to be encountered throughout. However, for all its massive world, and a strong core campaign, the world in itself can feel empty at times. Random encounters, and some bounty hunting aside, Red Dead Redemption, and even GTA V for that matter, gave players very little reason to completely immerse themselves in what is otherwise a fascinatingly detailed, and meticulously designed game world. So here are five things that we want Rockstar to up their ante with, and do better: More Side Quests, Instead Of Random Activities As much fun one might derive from throwing around horseshoes, I’d rather engage myself in meaningful side missions that contribute to the main goal of ...

We know that Mafia III has not received the most welcome reception as many expected it to. But there are many things the game gets right, and these are things that have made my time with the game a lot more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. The game’s story, setting, characters and core gameplay all seem so well tailored for the time period it is set in. Even though the game has a massive open world setting, it is great to see equal importance given to the characters and story. As much as I have enjoyed my time with GTA V, there are certain aspects where Mafia III clearly does way better than GTA V ever did. This is where I think Mafia III takes the lead. It boasts of a large open world but at the same time keeps your mission and side missions focused on an overall objecti...
