Borderlands 2 is free on Steam this weekend

A few days we shared an awesome gaming bundle by NVIDIA for Borderlands The Pre Sequel, if for some reason you’re interested in Borderlands 2 but have yet to play it, then here’s good news: the game is free on Steam this weekend. Even better, if you enjoy the game there’s a hefty 75 per cent discount on both Borderlands 2 and its Game of the Year edition during that period. Naturally, you’d be better off going for the latter as the DLC packs include a wealth of extra content.   The free weekend is timed perfectly to get indecisive punters aboard the Borderlands train ahead of the October release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Indeed, the game is now available for pre-purchase on Steam. You can play as Claptrap, which is great, because it means you can send the...

NVIDIA Launches Next GeForce Game Bundle – Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Launching today, NVIDIA and their partners will be bundling Gearbox and 2K Australia’s forthcoming FPS Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel with select video cards. This latest bundle is for the GTX 770 and higher, so buyers accustomed to seeing NVIDIA’s bundles will want to take note that this bundle is a bit narrower than usual since it doesn’t cover the GTX 760. After letting their previous Watch Dogs bundle run its course over the past couple of months, NVIDIA sends word this afternoon that they will be launching a new game bundle for the late-summer period. As always these bundles are available on Flipkart and Snapdeal. Do note buyers will want to double check whether their purchase includes a voucher for either of the above deals. As for the bundled game itself, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is...

Arena of Fate gameplay trailer boasts an aggressive Red Riding Hood

You’ve just got to have a MOBA nowadays. Crytek is aware of this, so Arena of Fate is the studio’s entry into the extremely popular genre. Our first glimpse at the game in action arrived at Gamescom 2014, and here finally is the full video for your viewing pleasure. Watch as Red Riding Hood explains the rules in her (rather overdone, let’s face it) regional British accent, and then watch as Alice (of Alice in Wonderland fame) helps slay her enemies. It appears to be pretty standard fare operationally, though Red Riding Hood does advise of a 20 minute limit to each match. A player can win before that if they outscore their opponent, and if there’s no emphatic winner by the end of the 20 minute limit, the team with the higher score wins. It’ll be interesting to ...

Far Cry 4′s lead platform is PC

Good news for PS4 and Xbox One owners, but PC gamers also have a reason to rejoice. Ubisoft isn’t exactly well known for the quality of its ports from consoles to PC, especially in the realm of optimization. Far Cry 4 shouldn’t suffer from that kind of problems. Well you will have elephants in Far Cry 🙂 Far Cry 4 will be a cross platform game, which leads many to wonder what kind of differences we’ll see between the new-gen version on PC, Xbox One and PS4 and the old-gen version on Xbox 360 and PS3.
