Don Bradman Cricket 14 coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC

Splinter Cell: Blacklist not to feature local co-op on Wii U

Producer Liu Jun has confirmed that the Nintendo Wii U will not feature the offline co-op mode for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. He stated that the pressure to ship the Wii U version alongside other platforms was the reason behind the missing feature. “In order to ship at the same time as the other consoles, we unfortunately weren’t able to delve into this feature. But we think Nintendo gamers will be really excited to get the game at the same time as other consoles.” Other than the local co-op play feature, the Wii U version of the game is virtually identical to that of the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Konami asks fans if they want Revengence sequel

Konami has come out with a new survey for fans that is geared towards asking them if they would wish for a potential sequel to this year’s game Metal Gear Rising: Revengance. The survey polls gamers about the title, how it was marketed, and why they did or did not buy it. And it ends with asking them if they would buy a Revengance sequel and what features they would want to see. Some options include more stealth elements, longer game length, online multiplayer, elements of humor. Call of Duty: Ghosts may have ‘squad’ gameplay

Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin tweeted a seven-second teaser featuring what appears to be an in-game menu for “squad” gameplay in its upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Ghosts. The clip, posted below, is just long enough to give a sneak peek to “online play” and “options” menus. Just before the video cuts out, “Squads” can also be seen at the top of the screen. Rubin does not state what game the clip is from, though Infinity Ward announced earlier this week that it will unveil Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer component Aug. 14. Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently slated for launch Nov. 5 for Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Killzone Mercenary Multiplayer now in Beta

Killzone: Mercenary will be launched on the PlayStation Vita on September 10, and today marks the opening of the title’s multiplayer beta. Though the test phase is currently closed, but interested gamers can get their  hands will be able to get in without a special code at the end of August. The team at Guerrilla Cambridge has put together a new developer diary to detail what players can expect. The Valor Card system rewards kills, with more money offered up for taking out someone more experienced than yourself. Single-player and multiplayer progress is steady across modes, so even without a WiFi connection, you can advance your mercenary. COD: Ghosts Multipalyer to be revealed soon

Gamers waiting for a good multiplayer shooter game need not wait any longer. Infinity Ward are ready to debut the multiplayer mode for next generation shooter during Los Angeles event next month. An update in the official Call of Duty website said that Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer mode will be revealed in an event in Los Angeles on the 13th of August. Activision had earlier announced that multiplayer maps in this game will include dynamic elements such as floods, earthquakes, with player actions affecting the outcomes of these events. There will also be a character customization system in this multiplayer mode. Call of Duty: Ghosts launches November 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. Battlefield 3 subscribers zooms past 4 million

EA has taken a huge leap forward with its subscribers reaching milestones for both its Battlefield 3 Premium service and its digital distribution platform, Origin. Battlefield 3 Premium subscribers have zoomed past four million in total, up from the 2.9 million subscribers reported in January. As of January, EA secured $108 million in revenue from the shooter’s content service, though no update on that figure is available in the latest financial report. Over 50 million users have registered accounts on Origin, an increase of over 20 million users since October of last year. EA’s DRM and content delivery service was introduced in June of 2011 and, according to comments from EA VP Andrew Wilson earlier this year, is currently shifting away from a means of driving transactions int...

PES 14 and FIFA 14 coming out on same day in the Americas

Konami has confirmed the release date of its game Pro Evolution Soccer 14 on the 24th of September in North, South, and Central America, which is also the day that FIFA 14 is released. However we do not know when Konami plans to reveal its dates for Europe, whereas EA Sports has already booked the 27th of September. PES 14 is going to be available in the Xbox and PS3 and this edition is powered by Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, which is said to boost the authenticity of the game’s in-game mechanics like collision detection and player models. Ubisoft asking fans which actor should play Aiden in Watch Dogs movie

We are starting to see a very interesting trend here in terms of gaming companies reaching out to its fans and allowing them to make rather important decisions. Just a little over a month we saw 2K Sports doing this same thing with WWE2K14’s cover. And now Ubisoft is taking that extra step in ensuring that the fans get what they want. The online poll asks the fans which actor they would want to see play the role of Aiden  Pearce in the upcoming Watch Dogs Movie.  The list includes Hollywood action movie stars like Tobey Maguire, Henry Cavill, Ryan Gosling, Paul Walker, Tom Cruise, Clive Owen, Robert Downey Jr., Andrew Garfield, Brad Pitt, and Edward Norton.
