Battlefield 4 Expansions Revealed
EA and DICE have announced the remaining expansion packages for Battlefield 4. Naval Strike, Dragon’s Teeth, and Final Stand will be included in the new pack alongside the previous China Rising and Second Assault. All weapons, maps, and content will be available for members of Battlefield Premium two weeks earlier. China Rising is scheduled to release this December while Naval Strike should come out some time in Spring next year, with Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand coming out in the summer of 2014. DICE also announced a new mode called Obliteration, a one-bomb objective mode where teams have to hunt down an explosive that are replaced in random locations. Source: IGN

Halo & Gears of war writer moves to amazon
“But I wouldn’t be there unless something cool was brewing.” Writer of Gears of War and Halo: Reach, Eric Nylund has recently disclosed that he has taken up a new job as Director of Narrative Design at Amazon Game Studios. Nylund had earlier left Microsoft Games in July, and had not mentioned anything about a new job until a facebook posting revealed a business card with Amazon Game Studios printed on the front. “I can’t talk about specifics,” Nylund said. “But I wouldn’t be there unless something cool was brewing.” It’s hard to make out where exactly Amazon Game Studio is headed as they do not have games which rank alongside Halo and Gears of War franchise. Destiny to be inspired from Borderlands and Far Cry
There’s a hunt about finding the “definitive shooter,” something that many game studios seem to be working on. Bungie hopes to take Borderlands’ brand of open world shooting one step further through connected play. Rockstar reveal 12 new GTA V Screenshots and a travelogue
Probably one of the most awaited game of the year, GTA V is just around the corner. Rockstar are really doing a good job in keeping gamers hyped up for the release of this game (like they already weren’t hyped up enough). These 12 images are of activities that take place in Los Santos, which range from speeding vehicles to leisurely activities like playing tennis. Rockstar released more than just these screenshots, they came out with travelogue where you can explore areas of Los Santos and Blaine County in a little more detail. WWE2K14 brings 30 years of WrestleMania Mode
2K Sports have revealed that their first installment of the WWE franchise will include a single player campaign mode that sweeps across 30 years of WrestleMania. With the title ’30 years of WrestleMania’ this mode will challenge players with completing 45 matches which are divided into 5 ‘eras’ in WWE’s vast history. The game promises to have authentic arenas, gear, entrances and even cinematic cuts to set the stage before each match. Very similar to WWE 13’s Attitude Era Mode, players are meant to complete objectives, which will allow them to unlock things such as playable wrestlers and alternate attire in 30 Years of WrestleMania, And most of these objectives are oriented around replicating the matches and the way they happened in real life. GTA V Online Gameplay releases 15th August
Rockstar has confirmed that the online gameplay for their latest installment of Grand Theft Auto is scheduled to be released on the 15th of this month. The teaser image below states that a a gameplay video will be released on the 15th which will be one of the first glimpses into the multiplayer component of GTA V.
