In today’s day and age, mobile phone games release literally every other day. There are just thousands of games that one can get from iTunes or Google Playstore for free and spend hours playing. What is quite irritating though is trying to find a game that is worth your time. The most obvious way is by going for a game that you need to pay for. This way you are guaranteed a certain standard of gameplay, graphics, story etc.

But not everybody wants to shell out cash, so for all you lazy f**ks, here is a list of the best android and iOS games that are worth your time and don’t cost a dime.

 

Asphalt 8: Airborne

One of the best car racing game on mobile phones right now. Gameloft’s front runner is a full on racing game with loads of cars to unlock, tracks to race on and various multiplayer modes for you to race your friends on.This game is action packed and is a lot of fun to play, and did I mention addictive?

Clash Royale

The latest release from Supercell, Clash Royale is much like it’s predecessor, Clash of Clans which was made by the same studio. You collect cards, build decks and taken on online opponents in one-on-one duels. You are allowed to make alliances with whom you can share cards with and even challenge, while unlocking new cards.

Cut the Rope: Magic

If you ask me, I’d say Cut the Rope was giving Angry Birds a run for it’s money when it had come out. When you first pick up the game it usually is for passing time, but once you get into it and get past the easy stages, the game takes a lot of concentration and a good sense of timing to complete. Cut the Rope: Magic is the latest iteration of the series and requires players to solve puzzles differently to help Om Nom to get to his candy.

There is really no two ways about this game, regardless of whether you love or hate it, this game swept across the globe like a plague and had large numbers of people running around town looking for that Ninetails. Even though it wasn’t officially released in India till like a week ago, people were glued to their phones trying to explore the real world around them while catching Pokemon, taking down gyms and finding Pokestops.

This game is quite similar to the counter strike series. You can choose to be part of an anti-terrorism unit and stop shit from going down or join the terrorist side and try make sure shit goes down. Battles are turn based and attacks cost you AP. There are potions and serums for you to heal and strengthen your team.

7 Mages

7 Mages is a mobile RPG that takes inspiration from classic computer RPGs and Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai. The game casts players as the seven mages who have to defend the island of Roven against enemies. 7 Mages is a blend of older games like Eye of the Beholder and Legend of Grimrock, putting together a detailed turn-based combat with adventure like puzzles.
