Assassin’s Creed: Why We Love the Series

Since the start Assassin’s Creed has been am amazing experience for gamers. Taking us from Jerusalem to Rome to Constantinople to the Caribbean and lastly Paris, the series has been a highly enjoyable ride.
Given how much the series has to offer, we have listed out our favorite things from each game in the series.

Assassin’s Creed: Beautiful and rich world, introducing great parkour mechanics, and engrossing story. The Assassin vs Templar theme was set dramatically.

Assassin’s Creed II: Great new protagonist, Ezio, and Da Vinci’s fun inventions!! And a soaring soundtrack that got you flying over rooftops!!

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: expands on Ezio’s story and world. This is also the first game in the series to feature online multiplayer, which delivered on the tense thrills of stalking and taking down other players in the crowded cities.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations: It had a culturally rich location, Constantinople, and an excellent end to Ezio and Altair’s story. Oh, and amazing caverns!!

Assassin’s Creed III: It started off with a thrilling prologue, and featured a wide array of historic events and characters.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: Introducing a fun new gameplay style, Black Flag is one of the most popular games in the franchise. Though it falters in terms of story, the addictive gameplay kept you coming back for more. Being a pirate on the open Caribbean seas was just the escape players wanted!!

Assassin’s Creed Rogue: For the first time we get to see the story from the Templar’s side of events, and this added much depth to the story. And it provided a satisfying ending to the events from Assassin’s Creed III and Black Flag.

Assassin’s Creed Unity: Alright, so this took off on a faulty start, however a beautiful and richly detailed Paris, lovable new protagonist, an improvised parkour mechanics and fun co-op gameplay made this game a lot of fun!!

So, that’s what we love about the games in this. Let us know your thoughts on the game, and do check out our article on what we expect to see in Assassin’s Creed Victory/Syndicate, which will be revealed later today. You can also watch the reveal right here.
