Turns Out Assassin’s Creed Origins Trailer Leaked Was Fake [UPDATE]

UPDATE – As it turns out the leaked video was actually made by a graphic designer who goes by the name of Cosmografik on Twitter. He’s posted a ‘Making Of’ video on his channel, and the original video has since been deleted by YouTube since it was considered as Spam.

We have an alternate link to the video if you stillw ant to take a look:

Ubisoft continues to be the leakiest video game company ever, with yet another trailer leaked before E3. This time it’s the E3 2017 trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins. Set in Egypt, Assassin’s Creed Origins looks like it’ll have you playing around the Thebes area during 1354 BC.

This leak was clearly shot on a cell phone during a preview, possibly the E3 Judges Week that happened a few days ago where representatives from some of the biggest press outlets were invited to take an early look at games that will be showcased at E3 this year.

Some members of the press have stated that the game wasn’t shown during Judges Week, but it’s hard to confirm as of yet. This might as well be a planned leak by Ubisoft, specially given how the video cuts really fast. There is some additional information to be gathered if you listen closely to the presenter who talks about the Crusades and ‘Machines’.

We couldn’t be more excited to see what Ubisoft has in store for the next Assassin’s Creed game, and will be eagerly awaiting the full reveal.

UPDATE: Turns out it’s fake. Nothing is true, everything is edited.
