NetherRealm Studios has recently revealed the next playable character for their upcoming game, Injustice 2, and he’s as swampy as one can be.
Swamp Thing will be a new addition in the series, as he wasn’t present in the previous title, Injustice: Gods Among Us. He looks like a bruiser, and has some killer moves (literally). Check out the trailer below:
You can see some of the deadly moves that Robin has to undergo, including a finisher move that pulls him below the ground, beating him senseless and almost ripping him apart in the process. There are a lot of other abilities as well, like the ability to grow branches that throw back the enemy attacks as self defense, grabbing the enemy and putting them in the ground, and Swamp Thing himself sinking into the ground in order to avoid damage. Even Batman and Wonder Woman don’t seem to hold a candle to this guy. Well, considering that it’s Swamp Thing’s trailer. I guess we’ll have to find out how lethal his moves really are once the game is out.
Injustice 2 is set to release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 16th May. In other news, Black Canary was just added to the playable roster for the ongoing closed beta.
