Zulliethewitch, who is also known as the person who made that big cut content folder that was passed around a while back, recently made a completely working 1st person perspective Dark Souls 3 mod. Works a lot like the Dark Souls 1\2 1st person mods (which she also made).

While I personally prefer the third person mode, it is interesting to see a first person mod done this well, and has a Skyrim feel to it, except that Dark Souls has actual gameplay to it.
