“Bloodborne’s Upcoming expansion will not be effected by my Second Project (i.e Dark Souls 3),” says Hidetaka Miyazaki, Director of Bloodborne, who also signed up as a Director for Dark Souls 3 earlier this year. When it first came to notice about Miyazaki working on two projects, it worried fans a lot, Since Bloodborne legacy could be demolished.
Miyazaki recently spoke to Gamespot in an interview, he said “I have the capacity to work on two projects, I think I can do it, I believe I can do both the Bloodbourne DLC and Dark Souls 3.” He continued saying, “This isn’t the first time I’ve had to work on two projects at the same time.” In this Interview he also reminded his fans about his past experience i.e When he was working for Demon’s Souls, Mayazaki was also working on Armoured Core: For Answer. Even the Original Dark Souls was also Produced and Directed by Miyazaki.
He said “In the case of Bloodborne, although I was lead game director, there was another guy supporting me, and the same goes with Dark Souls 3.” Tanimura-san director of Dark Souls 2, has already joined the team of Dark Souls 3, says Mayazaki, and this would Mayazaki concentrate on Core-gameplay and other things are take care of by Co-Devlopers.
Mayazaki added “As long as I am listed as game director on the end Credits, there’s a certain level of quality and respect for the game needs to meet. I can guarantee that the game quality will reach that.” To a question, Will Bloodborne DLC and Dark Souls 3 meet fans expectations?, Mayazaki replied “Yes”.
Well, We will not call this over confidence, Since Mayazaki is an able Game Director, For Now, Then and Forever. Mayazaki also said, Dark Souls 3 is the “turning point” in the franchise and will pave the way for something new.
