On July 10, 2015 Microsoft announced that it won’t be showing up Xbox One at this September’s Tokyo Game Show. Microsoft Japan Marketing executive Masayuki Inoue said to Getmasu, “This year, Microsoft will not exhibit the Tokyo Game Show, but we’re making various preparations to deliver the latest Xbox news to fans and media.” Reason for this was not explained but somehow the other Microsoft made it clear to Japanese fans that it would bring a huge line up of Games for this year.
Last year Xbox One was released in Japan a week before the Xbox One TGS was shown up, Well this could be a reason for the low sales of Xbox One in Japan, however Xbox released two dozen of games to play in TGS Xbox One conference 2015, but the impact on sales wasn’t that good.
Phill Spencer, Xbox One Marketing head said,” Japan is a country where Soulful Gamers comes from, but unfortunately we couldn’t attract them, Japan is a critical place for Microsoft to support.” Microsoft has promised to listen up to the gamers, which could improve Xbox One Sales.
Despite Xbox One sales in Japan, Microsoft has already improved their sales across the globe this year, Rival Sony has announced for TGS conference this year which will run on September 16, 2015 12:30 PM (IST).
