The irreverent Goat Simulator, billed by fans as G.O.A.T. (Greatest of all time) is making it’s debut on the playstations. Pick up if you want to cause glitchy shenanigans as a goat.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Beta (PS4) – August 19 ;(Xbox One, PC) – August 26
This year’s Call of Duty. The premise is suspiciously similar to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and the gameplay resembles last year’s Advanced Warfare which is awesome according to us.
Dishonored: Definitive Edition (Xbox One, PS4) – August 25
In the run up to Dishonoured 2, Bethesda is releasing the original game on this generation of consoles.
Gears of War Ultimate Edition (Xbox One) – August 25
Gears of War 1’s remaster is coming to the Xbox One this month, with DX12 support, enhanced graphics and many other tweaks. No word on the PC release yet though.
Until Dawn (PS4) – August 25
Until Dawn is a game based on slasher movies like the Scream series and the Friday the 13th. In it, you control the soon-to-be victims in a QTE driven manner not unlike David Cage’s games. As far as we can see, the game nails the grindhouse aesthetic of the slasher movies, but the polish and budget are seen throughout.
