CD Projekt Red had denied rumors of an Enhanced Edition for the critically acclaimed, and the most loved RPG, Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt being in the making in the beginning of the year, but they did confirm last month that a Game of the Year Edition was coming. And now Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition has a release date and a launch trailer.
The game comes out on 30th August, and includes the base game, plus the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansion packs and all the DLC content, all of which seems a pretty solid deal.
CD Projekt Red developer Konrad Tomaszkiewicz also confirmed to Eurogamer earlier in July that the Game of the Year edition will also bring “significant changes to the game’s interface and mechanics”, which only makes the whole package more alluring. Whether it will address all the things that fans have been asking for is still under speculation, but in any case, we’re pretty excited to get our hands on a copy of the game.
