During a special broadcast, The Pokemon Company announced “Pokemon Tournament”—a new fighting game based on the popular series. This announcement was the one the company teased about last week saying it has some shocking news.
Bandai Namco the developers of Tekken are in charge of the new Pokemon fighting game. “Whether you are a causal player, a regular player, or a hardcore player, anyone who likes Pokemon can have fun,” said veteran Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada.
Pokemon Tournament is going out on Japanese arcades next year. As of now there is no news about whether the game will make its way to western markets or consoles.
