After the success of Wasteland 2, inXile has announced that they’re making a direct sequel which will be released on the Windows PC, Linux, Mac, PS 4 and Xbox One. The developers said that they’ll be helping fund Wasteland 3 via crowdfunding on Fig, where they hope to raise about USD 2.75 million. Developer Psyonix has announced that their blockbuster rocker-propelled-car-slash-soccer mashup, Rocket League is getting a new, underwater themed update. Along with the new update which is being called AquaDome, two new premium DLC vehicles, Proteus and Titan will also be released, and will be priced at USD 1.99 for each car. The AquaDome update will be free and available in both casual and competitive playlists, with a stadium featuring a transparent glass dome hidden at the bottom of the ocean, teeming with life, including jellyfish, great white sharks and whatnot. Ubisoft has announced that the test servers will be open for all players on the PC so they can test the beta version for update 1.4 before it releases in October. Players can download the beta client on Uplay and Steam, which will be around 45 GB. Worry not, it won’t overwrite any of your old game data. Minecraft, the building blocks game that took over the world by storm seems to be on its way to become the first truly cross platform game, between Sony’s PlayStation 4 and the Microsoft Xbox One. According a screenshot of a tweet by Mojang (which has now been deleted) on KeenGamer, Minecraft will now support true cross-platform support, ahead of the upcoming Minecon this year. Available only for Minecraft Realms for the time being, players will be able to invite their mobile gaming friends as well. Realms allows players to host sessions on rented servers for a monthly subscription. Earlier, the cross platform support was only available for Anroid, iOS, PC and Xbox Live. Rockstar Games has announced the next big DLC for their critically acclaimed title, GTA Online. The new update will add the ability to to create biker gangs with up to 8 players who can then buy clubhouses for their gang to hang out and chill. The DLC will also add a new Biker mechanic, new motorcycles and even more venues for business opportunities. Players will get access to new weapons, tattoos and styles, plus the opportunity to build new businesses and climb the ranks within the gang. The open beta for the DICE’s upcoming FPS, Battlefield 1 concluded recently, and based on the feedback, DICE has announced some upcoming changes to the game. Lead World Designer, Daniel Berlin said in the official post,”When we build a new Battlefield game it’s important for us to try new things, we want to stay fresh and renew the franchise with each new installment. However, it’s equally as important that we take the feedback that you, the community, are giving us.” One major change being made to the game would be to the Conquest Mode.
