Just a a few days before it’s highly anticipated release, Mafia III has received yet another violent trailer, this time focusing on Lincoln Clay’s plans to get rid of the mob for good, by organizing his own empire from scratch. Outlast 2 Demo Out On Steam

The highly anticipated creepfest of a game, Outlast 2 may have been delayed to 2017, but there’s some solace for the fans of gut-hurling gore. thanks to the announcement of the demo for the game being available on Steam, albeit for a limited time. The free demo is only available till 1st November, so its safe to assume it comes as a Halloween present. However, if you grab it before the demo expires, it will remain in your library permanently, meaning you can put off playing it till you grow some balls (oh yeah). In the game you play as Blake Langermann, an investigative journalist who works alongside his wife, exploring cases that “no one else will dare touch.” Like that could ever have a happy ending. Outlast 2 is set to release in the first quarter of 2017 for the Windo...

ReCore Gets A New Trailer At Gamescom, Gameplay Doesn’t Look That Solid

When ReCore was first announced at the E3 conference this year, the game looked like delightfully surprising, a fresh take on action-adventure video games by the great minds who gave us classics like Metroid Prime and Mega Man. Now, combining those two can’t possible seem to be a bad idea, can it? However, the gameplay trailer may tell a different story altogether. While we’re definitely not saying that the game will be disappointing, it  certainly does seem a little different than what we had expected it to be. Looking more of a take on Capcom’s Lost Planet than Metroid Prime and Mega Man, it seems to be a little too stiff when it comes to the gameplay, whether it’s the navigation, jumping or the general motion. We certainly hope it’s just the trailer and not...

Play Anywhere: Xbox To Join Forces With PC?

Microsoft boldly announced the Project Scorpio during its E3 conference this year and has the gaming community on their feet to see how this beast of a console will turn out. Confirmed for release in the fall, it will operate at about six teraflops with 8 cores, memory bandwidth of over 320 Gbps and a speculated 12GB of GDDR5 memory. As a result, it is expected to be capable enough to play both 4K-native games and VR titles. Moreover, it will be backwards compatible, meaning you don’t have worry about your old library once you make the switch. But there seems to be a bigger, more ambitious approach at work. In an interview with The Verge, Phil Spencer, the Head of the Xbox division at Microsoft said, “One of the most significant initiatives doesn’t revolve around a single conso...

Windows Shot On Virtual Reality Holographic

Microsoft had been quiet for a while but on Wednesday during a Windows 10 event, it broke that silence. Along with a bunch of announcements Microsoft officially announced a future-focused augmented reality platform called “Windows Holographic.” Its much like Google Glass but this seems to a bit more thought out and elaborate. Its overall aim is to blend your digital life with the world you’re living in. “We’re dreaming beyond virtual worlds–beyond screens,” a Microsoft representative said. The Windows Holographic has within in a part called the “Microsoft HoloLens” headset. According to Microsoft, it’s the “most advanced holographic computer the world has ever seen.” It’s completely untethered, and features see-t...
