What The Hell Is Going On With Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Facial Animations

Mass Effect Andromeda is out in the wild now, and players are already bashing the game’s terrible facial animations and wonky movements. This is not to say that the game is bad overall, but this is a series that focuses on the story, and when it’s delivered this shoddily, people will take notice. In some of the cutscenes the character’s faces look dead, with only their lips moving while they talk. Other times, movements are absurd, with comparisons being made to a chimpanzee.
