Ubisoft has now opened up a sign-up list for those who want to be the first to play Tom Clancy’s The Division’s Beta when it launches to Xbox One players in December of this year. Spots are limited, so you might want to get on it right away. The Beta will apparently be a timed exclusive to Xbox One. Then, in 2016, PC and PS4 players will get the chance to check it out. You must also Pre-Order the game in order to take advantage of the Beta. You can pre-order on the same page as the Beta sign-up. Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online shooter with RPG elements. Ubisoft Massive announced that the beta signups for Tom Clancy’s The Division are open now. You can sign up here by Pre-Ordering the game. Xbox One players will be able to experience the beta during an exclusive first look this December. An additional beta on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will take place in early 2016. Ubisoft’s upcoming open world game has been delayed to early 2016. While delays are never welcomed, we hope this delay is so as to optimize the game and not be a half-baked game pushed for an early release (yes, we’re thinking Unity). In a recent interview, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told why the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry publisher is working on more open-world games. Guillemot says that games like Watch Dogs, The Crew, Far Cry 4 or The Division do appeal to gamers much more allow a certain level of freedom among players because they allow players a more free-form experience instead of a linear and directed one. “We think that gamers want more freedom,” Guillemot said. “They also want games that they can play for quite a while, because there are less games now.
