The news was announced in May, with the Japanese firm initially looking to sell the studio to another publisher but eventually settling on a management buyout (MBO) with the IO team, giving the Hitman studio its independence. Square Enix is Recruiting Staff to Make Something New for NieR Square Enix recently put up a new staff recruitment page to add members to its scenario staff for NieR. Director Yoko Taro and producer Yosuke Saito also shared some messages about the recruitment.
