Recently there was a bit of a kerfuffle when micro-transactions were revealed for Shadow Of War. Along with that, word started spreading that the game will also require you to be always connected to the internet. As it turns out, neither of those things are as bad as they sound. The microtransactions are mostly cosmetic and not predatory. It still sucks to have micro-transactions in a full price game, but it’s nowhere near as bad as it initially seemed to be.
