Microsoft revealed yesterday that Xbox 360 has “reached 80 million consoles sold to retailers worldwide” according to its internal data. “Sold to retailers” doesn’t necessarily mean all of these consoles have yet to trickle out to customers, though retailers wouldn’t buy consoles unless there was consumer demand.
