Mafia III is pretty hyped as it is, and it gets better. The upcoming action adventure game will be getting a ton of DLCs, including a bunch of additional costumes for Lincoln Clay, car customization options and vehicle races. This is the stuff that all players will get for free, irrespective of whether they pre-ordered the game a year ago or buy the game on the release day or wait for a while before they decide to go for it. There will also be three story expansions, in addition to all the free stuff. Faster, Baby! will feature “Fast cars, dramatic chases, and stunt driving take center stage as Lincoln joins forces with his former flame, Roxy Laveau, to take down a corrupt Sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux.” Sign of the Times: A string ...

Project Genom, the upcoming sci-fi MMORPG by an indie studio NeuronHaze will be getting Early Access on Steam from 12 October. The developer claims that there will be no hidden purchases in the game, and the gameplay progress shall be solely dependent on your actions and decisions. A highly fascinating feature of the game is that your organs can be replaced if and when necessary. Taking inspiration from titles like Mass Effect, Dead Space, Witcher 3 and Deus Ex, the developer says that Project Genom is not a typical MMORPG where you have to farm and grind all the time. It features difficult battles, a mature storyline and RPG elements. It gives you complete freedom for character development and technological modifications. By suing drugs and medication, you can improve the institutions or ...
The Dead Rising franchise has always been known for one thing – putting a time limit to tasks, thus introducing an urgency with sometimes quite harsh punishments, including a game restart. In spite of having all the freedom to explore, the time limit bound you to completing the tasks in the give boundation, or face the consequences. The upcoming title will abandon the system completely. Unlike Dead Rising 3, in which adhering to the time limit was optional, this time Frank West is going to have all the time in the world to explore the world and kill zombies. Though we don’t know how to feel about ripping a game of its most iconic element, even Dead Rising 3 wasn’t exactly a bad game (and the time limit in that was completely useless, mind you). But we can probably expect ...
Making arena type FPS characters more unique by giving them special abilities seems to be a new trend. Battleborn, Overwatch, even Call of Duty: Black Ops III, all give you some kind of powers based on the character you choose. Though the game will feature all the cool stuff that made us fall in love with the Quake series (including rocket jumping, fast movement, scurrying around the map for different weapons), Champions will be the first game to adopt this unique ability format. Fans of the classic Quake experience have had a mixed reaction to this, however. Many want the old school experience in today’s high detail graphics. “We want to make sure we give people what they want,” Project Lead Tim Willits said in an interview with Gamespot. “If you create custom game...
Crytek has recently revealed their planned roadmap for the CryEngine, and it may see a lot of important and big updates coming soon. Soon enough (hopefully this month), the CryEngine will get Directx12 multi-GPU and VR support, a full fledged Directx12 renderer, maybe NVIDIA’s Physx and much, much more. All these amazing features are listed for the update 5.2, up for release mid-August, according to CryTek’s website. So, if all goes as planned, we may be getting the update anytime now. Following in October, the 5.3 update will bring Vulkan support to the engine, adding a world of possibilities. Based on AMD’s Mantle API, Vulkan will provide another low-overhead option that has been showing increasingly better performance in latest titles. CryEngine has been used to develo...
In addition to the beautiful 4K trailer released at Gamescom, the minimum and recommended PC specs to run Gears of Wars 4 have been revealed by Microsoft. For the sake of clarity, Microsoft has offered three tiers of PC specs required for the game – minimum, recommended and ideal. However, no matter the case, you’ll need the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update to be able to play the game, along with an appalling 80 GB of free hard drive space. To run the game on minimum specs, you just need a 750 Ti or an R7 260 X. However, the recommended graphic cards are either the r9 290x or the RX 480 for AMD and the GTX 970 or GTX 1060 for NVIDIA. The ideal specs boast of an R9 Fury x or a 980Ti/GTX 1080, along with an SSD – calling for a decent investment, especially when you hav...
Ubisoft revealed an exclusive multiplayer trailer for Watch Dogs 2, showcasing the various multiplayer modes available to players. Following suit, the sequel to the critically acclaimed title Watch Dogs will let you play online without having bothered to sit in lobbies. In addition to that, you can partner up with a friend to undertake co-op missions or simply go about enjoying the sights. There will also be modes that will pit players against each other, with World Invasions making a return as well. World Invasions task the player with hacking someone else without being identified or caught. And those who like create a little ruckus in their own games shall be penalized as well; hurting too many innocent bystanders will lead to a bounty being put on your head. This will enable other playe...
Unlike the first title that was completely a multiplayer experience, Titanfall 2 will include a single player campaign which will compliment the multiplayer. The fans had asked for it, the developers are giving it to them, and from the sound of it, it may turn out to be brilliant after all. In an interview with IGN, designer Mackey McCandlish stated,”I think having made as many games as some of the people on the team have, we start to look for opportunities to stretch our limbs and make something that would excite us,” McCandlish said. “We’ve all been influenced by Half-Life and Bioshock and didn’t really have the opportunity to bring that level of pacing and player-centric conflict to games like Call of Duty that are so much about a squad. So this was a reall...
As Battlefield 1 nears its release date, people are waiting in anticipation as to what the game will bring in its novel World War I setting. The first World War ushered in the armoured tank as we know it today, and it was the first war to feature such a massive scale aircraft warfare. In the gameplay video, DICE team help in providing us a little historical context for the game’s vehicular combat, as well as why they put the tanks behind a specific class. The video follows another one, released previously, that focuses all on weapons. Battlefield 1 releases on 21st October, close to Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and the debates about which shooter will turn out to be the better one are getting more and more heated, with fans of both franchises having st...
Only one day to go for the release of what can only be said to be the most anticipated game of this year. The wait gets over tomorrow, and you can finally get your hands on No Man’s Sky, well, considering you’re not playing on the PC, because then you’ll have to wait till the 12th. However, the indie studio Hello Games seems to be hard at work to update the game and they’re ready with the first update 1.03. The update will be needed after you install the game in order to be able to play it. The players who were able to get their hands on an early copy of the game can still play it without updating, but will not have access to the new content and changes in update 1.03 without deleting the save file of their pre-update game. Hello Games says it’s necessary beca...
