PayDay 2 for Switch Launches February 23
Starbreeze Studios and OVERKILL – A Starbreeze Studio just announced the release dates for the hugely successful cooperative first-person shooter PayDay 2 for the Nintendo Switch system. PayDay 2 is set to release on February 23rd in Europe and Australia and February 27th in North and South America. This is the first time ever that PayDay 2 will be available on a Nintendo console – both digitally and through physical distribution on cartridge by 505 Games. Overkill Software is no longer supporting Payday 2 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. PayDay 2 Gets A Female Playable Character
PayDay 2 has got its first female character and it’s an Irish woman named Clover. You can get her through the Clover Character Pack which you can get for $5. She has a skill of her own called Burglar that is basically the ability ti pick locks, bag bodies, and answers pages faster. One of her strong points is a high tolerance to pain which allows her to quickly heal from wounds. Clover comes with a special mask, a high power L-95 assasult rifle and a melee weapon. According to her description “Clover grew up in a rough house in a rough part of town. Payday 2 ‘s second weapon pack out in Feb
Another pack of gear is going to be introduced to Payday 2 sometime in February, courtesy of Gage the weapons dealer. Following up on his first premium offering, his second weapons pack introduces some new light machine guns, knives and the Cloaker – a new enemy police unit. Not much is known about Cloakers, but what we do know is that you’ll hear “a faint hissing whine” when they’re near. The light machine guns, though have a large magazine size, take a decent time to reload. The knives have a whole new dynamic, a new charge attack that can knock down enemies, so the longer you hold down the melee button, the stronger the attack. Steam brings Gage(DLC) for Payday 2
Yesterday, i.e the 5th of December the Gage Weapon Pack came out for Payday 2, a piece of premium DLC for the PC version on Steam. There was an increase in the game’s inventory of weapons, mods and masks. The Gage Weapon Pack brings in a brand new variety of guns, mods, masks and also increases player inventory size by quite a considerable amount. Payday 2 Demo and DLC Out Today
Payday 2 players now have a few more levels ahead of them to complete as new content has been released in the form of the Lootbag DLC on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, developer Overkill announced earlier today. And to add to that, a demo is now available on Xbox 360 which will also be out on the PS3 at some point.
