It’s been out on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 since April, but last-gen versions of Mortal Kombat X are still MIA – and according to US retailer Gamestop, Warner Bros. has delayed the game’s launch for a second time, with no official release date confirmed. As a Xbox 360 and PS3 owner that’s a big loss L Kotaku reports that Gamestop has informed its customers that Mortal Kombat X’s drop on Xbox 360 and PS3 has been pushed “from summer to fall”. Gamestop’s website now shows its new release date as 31 December, although that’s probably a placeholder date. Mortal Kombat X Sound Effects Are Made With Green Goo and a Toilet Plunger

Mortal Kombat X has some pretty gory fatalities and truly are a gruesome sight. But did you ever think of how the team goes about making those sound effects? The video (its pretty long so start watching from the 19th minute) shows NetherRealm developers using green goo, a plunger, and some other tools to create the gross, goopy sounds you’ll hear during Fatalities. The developer also added that t...

Mortal Kombat X Review

The game is in many ways an evolution of 2011’s Mortal Kombat. The gruesome fatalities and x-ray attacks that Mortal Kombat is famous for are more disgusting/gut wrenching than ever. These fatalities are made much more convincing due to improved special effects. It is very easy to get caught up with the visuals and forget there is a deep and meaningful game underneath. And we don’t blame you; cause almost each and every move in the game shows you yet another way to torture someone. But that doesn’t divert the focus away from its original motive, “K”ombat. The last Mortal Kombat delivers a robust story mode. The fight for the out world realm has stirred up great turmoil causing fallen elder gods and demons alike to contend for the seat by any means necessary. It remains a similar tale but a...
