Review: Logitech G403 Prodigy Gaming Mouse

The Logitech G403 is one of the latest Prodigy series mice, aimed at making gaming more affordable for new and budget-wary PC gamers. It follows the classic ergonomic right-handed design popularized by the Razer DeathAdder. The price however, puts it in direct competition against not the entry level mice, but established, well known names. Gaming mice are often identified by their unique and exotic shapes, but the G403 keeps it simple and classy. The shape that feels very natural and familiar to hold. In contrast to high end gaming mice like the Razer Naga or the Logitech G600 which boast of a horde of buttons, it takes things back to the basics with two side buttons, and one DPI switch button in addition to the conventional left-click, right-click buttons and the scroll wheel. The G403 ha...

Logitech G231 Prodigy Gaming Headset Review

Logitech came up with the whole Prodigy peripheral line up to help ease new players them into the sphere of gaming. They are trying to appeal to a new generation of gamers who just started out on their gaming journeys. One of the products, the G231 was a result of this. A G230 with better sound and mic quality….and a higher price tag. Design It’s kind of an upgrade from the G230 as both have the same washable ear-pads, same noise cancellation microphone and pretty much the overall same style. The main difference between the G230 and G231 is the 3.5mm jack. It now has the combo microphone and headphone all in one. But it does come with the splitter in case you want to use it on the laptop. Specific to this model is the in-line controls through which you can turn your mic on/off ...

Review: Logitech G610 Orion Blue Gaming Keyboard

Simple and elegant. These are probably the two best words to describe the Logitech G610 Orion Gaming Keyboard. It comes with two variants, one with Cherry MX Brown and Cherry MX Blue switches. Today we review the G610 Orion Blue, which as the name suggests, has the Blue Cherry MX Switch. It features the characteristic tactile bump, which lets you know that the key has been pressed. You need to apply a bit of pressure for that to happen, meaning that it can greatly reduce errors you might make while typing as lightly grazing over the key will not register as a keystroke. The keys also make a very satisfying clicking sound as your press them, which some groups might consider as music to their ears. Theoretically, it’s the ideal keyboard for people with intense typing work. Talking abou...

Review: Logitech G102 Prodigy Gaming Mouse

A successor to the G100s, the Logitech G102 follows the classic G1 series design, though it comes with some handy perks and customizations. Not only is there a performance improvement, but Logitech has also made sure that their entry level gaming mouse is jazzed up in terms of looks as well. The design of the mouse, though symmetrical in appearance can’t exactly be called ambidextrous as it features the side buttons on the left side of the mouse. It looks simple and is relatively low, designed for users with small to medium sized hands. The Logitech G102 Prodigy comes in two colours: black and white. Both come in a delicate matte finish, though it still feels very smooth while holding. The side buttons and the DPI shift button on the top have a glossy texture and feel much lighter. T...
