Super Mario Run Gets A Release Date, Price Revealed
Super Mario Run, Nintendo’s first game for the mobile platform finally has a release date. The game will be available for download starting 15th December on the iPhone and the iPad. You can download and play for free, but that will only be a small taste of the game. In order to get the all the content you’ll have to pay USD 9.99 via an in-app purchase. However, Nintendo claims that this will only be a one-time transaction, and players will not have to pay for anything else later. Super Mario Run will release simultaneously in 151 countries. While the game is exclusive for the iPhone and iPad for now, Nintendo says that it will be released for Android in 2017. You can check out the gameplay trailer below. The Room 2 to unlock for iPhone
The Room 2 is going to be available for download on iPhone from today, i.e the 30th of January. The first version of the game had come out on the iPad which was launched sometime in December and was priced at £2.99. And Android users will have to wait as a launch is scheduled “on or before 14th February”, said developer Fireproof Studios. The Room 2 is a sequel to the studio’s original The Room, which had won the Best British Game BAFTA at last year’s awards. “Crafting a sequel to a bite-sized surprise hit is never easy,” Dan Whitehead said. “Fireproof has taken a conservative approach that avoids those pitfalls, but it hasn’t abandoned ambition in the process. Battlefield 3 subscribers zooms past 4 million
EA has taken a huge leap forward with its subscribers reaching milestones for both its Battlefield 3 Premium service and its digital distribution platform, Origin. Battlefield 3 Premium subscribers have zoomed past four million in total, up from the 2.9 million subscribers reported in January. As of January, EA secured $108 million in revenue from the shooter’s content service, though no update on that figure is available in the latest financial report. Over 50 million users have registered accounts on Origin, an increase of over 20 million users since October of last year.
