After Take-Two have essentially banned modding for Grand Theft Auto V, the whole gaming community, especially PC gamers have come together to make it known that they are not pleased with the decision. The community has been leaving negative reviews on Steam which has seen the game’s overall rating go from Overwhelmingly Positive to Mixed and recent rating to Overwhelmingly Negative. Players have also decided to boycott Take-Two games with many users urging people to let Take-Two know with your wallet. Today Atari has announced that 24 years after the launch of its latest home console “Atari Jaguar”, they will return to the market with a new gaming console. Below is the first teaser marketing video of the console: Atari is working on a new Gaming Console The announcement was made by Fred Chesnais, CEO of Atari, who told GamesBeat’s that “we’re back in the hardware business,” (consoles). He declined to disclose any kind of information regarding the console, but he said it is based on PC technology. Currently we know that the new console will share the same architecture used by the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, i.e. it will use x86 PC hardware, but still, we don’t have details on if it will be AMD or NVIDIA to provide their graphics. Chesnais said that Atari’s revival is we...
E3 2017 was not one of the best in recent years and you could say it was a “filler” year. A lot of no shows or surprise announcements this year, with most games being previously announced games. We’ve covered the highs and the lows, time to cover the no shows that we were expecting or hoping for. Cyberpunk 2077 After being teased in January 2013, we haven’t heard or seen much about it. With the recent claim of the hackers who stated they would release information and documents about the game to the public, CDPR stated that they would show the game when it was “ready”. We expected maybe another trailer or announcement of some sort but we got nothing. Death Stranding Hideo Kojima had announced before E3 that Death Stranding would not be shown. Then he sta...
Possible logos and key artworks for the next Tomb Raider game, rumored to be titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider, have leaked via the website of Takeoff Creative, an entertainment marketing company that has worked with Tomb Raider publisher Square Enix in the past. The website posted (now removed) the above logos and key artworks for the unannounced Tomb Raider game. It’s worth noting that the artwork in the upper right, under the “Logos” section, is actually reused from Rise of the Tomb Raider. The key artworks appear to show pyramids, a Lara Croft with braided hair, and weapons such as spears, machetes, and swords. Thanks, NeoGAF. Hitman developer Io Interactive is now an independent studio, separate from former parent company Square Enix, and owner of the Hitman IP, company CEO Hakan Abrak said in a message today. Here is the full message from Abrak: In its 19 years of history, Io-Interactive has brought you original and exciting entertainment; from Mini Ninjas and Freedom Fighters to gaming’s most notorious criminals Kane & Lynch and of course our beloved Agent 47. With our latest game, we have not only transformed Hitman, but also moved our entire studio into the AAA digital era. Our live product has disrupted the video game business and has received recognition and praise from press, community and our fans. There are many tales of hope, dreams, hardship and joy within these walls. We have never strived for t...
This year’s E3 was lackluster, to say the least. Most of the games that were shown were games that were already announced before, either at E3 2016 or during the time leading up to E3 2017. Also, a lot of same games for different platforms or VR version of games were shown, heck even DLC was showcased at E3. People had high hopes from Sony this year after their amazing press conference last year but they fell short instead we saw Nintendo rise up. Nobody really expected Nintendo to have such a catalog of games to announce and the games they showcased were quite honestly, pretty damn good. So let’s talk about how Nintendo “won” E3 in 2017. Super Mario Odyssey was already announced with a little teaser that we had already seen. We were expecting more information about...

We covered the top showings at E3 2017 and now we’re covering the disappointments from E3. This is all based on my personal opinion, which will differ from yours so please, don’t come at me with your pitchforks. Nintendo Metroid Prime 4 Nintendo had a pretty great conference, probably the best conference this year so choosing a disappointing announcement was kinda hard. This was extreme nitpicking but they announced Metroid Prime 4 with what was essentially a gif of the title of the game. It hyped everyone up for sure but then we have nothing else, no images or screenshots or alpha footage or anything. Sony Monsters of the Deep Okay, what? No seriously, why even announce this? A Final Fantasy Fishing game for the VR because apparently, people’s fantasy is to fish. Microso...
