Rockstar Games Open To Making Remasters Of Older GTA Games
In a recent investor call, Take-Two Interactive spoke in depth about the company’s plans for upcoming and previously released video games. Speaking in particular about Rockstar making remastered version of older GTA games, Take Two said that the developer was open to the idea but not eager to do it. Rockstar is willing to make remasters only when they can upgrade it significantly, and make the game look great. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, said that, “Rockstar Games will decide in due course, and wouldn’t do anything that’s not going to look great creatively.” This was specifically pointed to questions about remasters of GTA Vice City and GTA III.
