Mass Effect Trilogy to come to PS4, Xbox One?
Mass effect has been one of the best games of the current generations, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn has recently responded to a fan query from December about the studio redoing the Mass Effect Trilogy for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 featuring “1080p/high-res textures/60fps, etc.” Now, Flynn obviously didn’t make an announcement right then and there — but he did say the studio has given thought to such a re-release. “We have discussed that internally,” he replied. “If we can put solid plans together we’ll share. Activision launching Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer demo on March 7
Activision this time around is planning to do something quite out of its stride, which is also something they have never attempted in the Call of Duty series. The publisher announced yesterday that it will host a free Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer demo on Xbox Live this weekend for Xbox One and PC. The promotions will start from the 7th till the 10th of March, and will mark the first time Activision has offered a multiplayer demo for a Call of Duty game. During this time period, you will be able to try out 3 multiplayer maps (Strikezone, Warhawk, and Prison Break), as well as three multiplayer modes: Search & Rescue, Domination, and Team Deathmatch. Xbox One, 360 to get COD: Ghosts villains-themed customization items March 4
Activision Community Manager Dan Amrich announced on his blog earlier that Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will be able to buy villains-themed customization items for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer mode on March 4. So Call of Duty fans can expect to see some familiar faces. The Makarov Legend Pack gives you the opportunity to play as the antagonist from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Vladimir Makarov, which will include a Makarov-themed Personalization Pack with a weapon camo, patch, reticle, playcard, and background and will cost as much as the Captain Price Legend Pack which is $4. And for $2 each, you can also play multiplayer as Gabriel Rorke, the villain from Call of Duty: Ghosts, Irman Zakhaev, the villain from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, or some random soldier in a Hazmat suit...

Some say it was just a matter of time, others quite taken a back when they saw this. But a new mod has brought the worlds of Flappy Bird and Grand Theft Auto together and the results are quite mind-blowing! YouTube user “taltigolt” published a video today highlighting the creation of modders “julionib” and “quechus13,” wherein the rules of Flappy Bird are applied to Grand Theft Auto IV. Titanfall beta got 2 million players on Xbox One, PC
The trials for the beta version of the game opened up to Xbox One players on February 15 before coming to PC, and had supposedly reached this milestone on February 19. Respawn engineer Jon Shiring said that the beta was quite crucial for field-testing Xbox Live Compute, Microsoft’s cloud computing service. “Forza used it a little bit, but they weren’t as reliant on it as we are,” he said. “The game is completely reliant on it. If it’s down, nobody can play.” The developer had identified about ten issues with the game during beta testing and had dealt with them all. Dev. Naughty Dog still on the fence about The Last of Us 2
A few days ago, The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley held a Reddit Ask Me Anything where they mentioned that developer Naughty Dog still has to decide whether we’ll see a sequel to The Last of Us. “Right now I’d say it’s 50/50,” Druckmann said. About a month back, word was going around that The Last of Us team was brainstorming for its next project. Ubisoft launches massive Steam sale
More than 80 Ubisoft titles have been reduced in a huge Steam sale, which is running from now until 24th February. Cut-price games include downloadable gems such as Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes , Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Rayman Origins . The first two Assassin’s Creed games are also available, while more recent entries Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3. Michel Ancel’s cult classic Beyond Good & Evil is also currently reduced. Infamous: Second Son requires 24GB install
According to an image posted in the PlayStation forums, the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Infamous: Second Son will need 24 GB install. Compared to its predecessor, the PlayStation 3 game Infamous 2 was clocked in at 14GB, according to the game’s product page on the Sony Entertainment Network website. And thanks to the new PlayGo system, the PS4 allows you to start playing before downloads are complete. Infamous: Second Son launches exclusively for the PS4 on the 21st of March. Angry Birds tribute to Gravity
Rovio Entertainment has published a mock-up movie poster for the film Gravity, and as you’d expect is pretty funny. Rovio’s tribute to Gravity states that the movie was directed by “Alfonso Curedham,” starring “Spamdram Bullock” and “Pork Clooney.” The tag line “Don’t Let Go” is used to describe the movie, which portrays a frightened pig in a space helmet drifting off into space. You’ll will need to see the movie to get it. An Angry Birds version of Gravity is not underway but Rovio is making an Angry Birds movie itself and has even assembled an all-star cast to bring the animated flick to theaters in 2016.
