Dev. Naughty Dog still on the fence about The Last of Us 2
A few days ago, The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley held a Reddit Ask Me Anything where they mentioned that developer Naughty Dog still has to decide whether we’ll see a sequel to The Last of Us. “Right now I’d say it’s 50/50,” Druckmann said. About a month back, word was going around that The Last of Us team was brainstorming for its next project. Druckmann said that some ideas are for brand new games while others are for a sequel. “It’s kind of like how we approached Left Behind,” he said. “Can we tell people a story that’s really worth telling, and that’s not repeating itself? Ubisoft launches massive Steam sale
More than 80 Ubisoft titles have been reduced in a huge Steam sale, which is running from now until 24th February. Cut-price games include downloadable gems such as Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes , Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Rayman Origins . The first two Assassin’s Creed games are also available, while more recent entries Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3. Michel Ancel’s cult classic Beyond Good & Evil is also currently reduced. Buy it now and it might improve the chances of a sequel (maybe). Other titles on sale include I Am Alive, From Dust, Rocksmith and a number of Prince of Persia games. Source: Eurogamer

Infamous: Second Son requires 24GB install
According to an image posted in the PlayStation forums, the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Infamous: Second Son will need 24 GB install. Compared to its predecessor, the PlayStation 3 game Infamous 2 was clocked in at 14GB, according to the game’s product page on the Sony Entertainment Network website. And thanks to the new PlayGo system, the PS4 allows you to start playing before downloads are complete. Infamous: Second Son launches exclusively for the PS4 on the 21st of March. Angry Birds tribute to Gravity
Rovio Entertainment has published a mock-up movie poster for the film Gravity, and as you’d expect is pretty funny. Rovio’s tribute to Gravity states that the movie was directed by “Alfonso Curedham,” starring “Spamdram Bullock” and “Pork Clooney.” The tag line “Don’t Let Go” is used to describe the movie, which portrays a frightened pig in a space helmet drifting off into space. You’ll will need to see the movie to get it. An Angry Birds version of Gravity is not underway but Rovio is making an Angry Birds movie itself and has even assembled an all-star cast to bring the animated flick to theaters in 2016. Forza 5 becomes the fastest selling racing game in Xbox History
Microsoft announced that Forza 5 is the fastest-selling racing game in Xbox history. Stats indicate that more than one third of Xbox One owners have bought the Turn 10-developed racing game, which came out on the same day as the console. Microsoft has shipped 3.9m Xbox One units globally, so a third of that is about 1.3m in sales. This news came out when Turn 10 revealed Road America, the first track add on update for the game. Master Chief reveals that Halo 5 comes out in 2015
Following up reports from earlier this year, Steve Downes, the voice of Master Cheif, has said that Halo 5 won’t launch until 2015. And for this year we can expect Halo 2 Anniversary Edition. GameZone had an interview with Downes in which he said the following: “I think you may be ahead of yourself on Halo 5. I wouldn’t expect anything until 2015.
