The classic games Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver are back! The two games return as Virtual Console titles for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family on September 22, 2017. Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver were released in Japan on November 21, 1999, as the second set of titles in the Pokémon series. These games, which were the first titles in the Pokémon series to be designed for the Game Boy Color, will be recreated in their Virtual Console versions so their screens appear just as they did on the Game Boy Color. Players will be able to enjoy playing them just as they remember playing them in earlier days. Pokémon developers have officially announced the new Pokémon games titles Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon during Pokémon Direct. This game will be launching on the 3DS with rumours of a Switch release as well. It features the Alola region but is set in an alternate timeline with Mega Forms making a return. The game will release on November 17th 2017. You can watch the gameplay below, starting from the 3:00 minute mark. We are expecting more information about the game to announced at E3.
