Star Citizen Switches Game Engine

Cloud Imperium announced yesterday that their upcoming game Star Citizen and the single-player campaign Squadron 42 will now use Amazon’s Lumberyard game engine. Star Citizen Shows Off Procedural Planets V2 Demo At CitizenCon 2016

Star Citizen, the uber hyped upcoming space simulation title from Cloud Imperium Games has gotten a fresh new demo for CitizenCon 2016. Titled as Procedural Planets V2, the video shows a mission answering a distress beacon from a planet’s surface. As a sandstorm rolls in, you find a surprise lurking for you in the dunes, demonstrating the perils and the environment of the planet, along with the kind of weather systems that Cloud Imperium is planning to implement in the game.
