Recently Fortnite announced the inclusion of a Battle Royale mode that will be available to players for free from 26th September. In the announcement trailer for Fortnite: Battle Royale, Epic’s Donald Mustard says, “At Epic, were huge fans of the battle royale genre, and games like PUBG and H1Z1.” In the blog post announcing the version, they say, “We love Battle Royale games like PUBG and thought Fortnite would make a great foundation for our own version.” While this has been widely welcomed by gamers, the developers behind PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds themselves are not too happy.
