Battlefield is a game that has been around for a decent amount of time now and has been giving the Call of Duty franchise a run for its money. With the Battlefield Hardline release right around the corner, Electronic Arts and Visceral Games just came out with the official launch trailer. The trailer does its job by setting up the game’s cops-and-robbers story and also features some of its new features, including zip-lines and more. EA Access members on Xbox One need not wait till the 17th of March to play Hardline, they can starting playing the game from the 12th for a total of 10 hours. Visceral Games has confirmed the resolution details for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the upcoming cops-and-robbers multiplayer shooter. Just as was done with Battlefield 4, the PS4 edition will output a higher resolution than the Xbox One. The PC version of Hardline may just end up being the best looking of the lot—atleast for gamers with high eng rigs. Hardline launches on the 17th of March for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

Battlefield Hardline’s developer Visceral Games has updated the game’s official website with the list of all multiplayer maps and modes for the upcoming shooter, scheduled for release in March for PC. The nine maps and seven modes are mentioned below in full detail, and some images to go with it in the end. Battlefield Hardline, the cop-drama take on Electronic Arts’ military shooter franchise was delayed into 2015, mainly over concerns with the online multiplayer experience that just went through a beta in June. While extra time is always useful for polishing things, it sounds as though Battlefield Hardline wrapped shooting in May and the story is basically finished. Just a few days before this year’s E3 a seven minute long gameplay trailer for the upcoming police-themed Battlefield: Hardline by Visceral Games has been leaked. The trailer seems to be running on PlayStation 4 and includes a whole lot of information on the game. It also shows four multiplayer modes and of the narrative-driven single player campaign as well. The multiplayer modes will be as follows: Heist, where criminals try execute a big robbery while the cops attempt to stop them. Rescue the police will attempt to pull out of trouble a group of hostages during a heist gone wrong. Hotwire will feature big vehicle chases over large maps. This morning EA and Visceral Games confirmed their next project –Battlefield Hardline. The game launches this fall and it’s a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals. There’s been a lot of buzz today about Battlefield Hardline which will be showcased for E3 this year. They’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and we should expect a strong single player campaign since Visceral is on board.
