Accessing Facebook on PS Vita PlayStation 3 and PlayStation TV comes to an end. On September 15, 2015 Sony made an announcement via PlayStation Blog in which the company has stated,”In January 2016 Sony Computer Entertainment will terminate support for the Facebook features integrated within the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita as well as PlayStation TV. So from January 2016 Facebook application will no longer be available for download from PlayStation Store as of 15 September 2015.”
Sony has also apologised for its actions,”We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding.”
Well Why did Sony take this decision? Obviously PlayStation Users across the world love being social, share their games, movies etc etc. Meanwhile a question arises, Will it be the same for other social networks like Foursquare and Twitter?
