Xbox One Predicts PS4 Price Drop In US And Europe

Past week at Tokyo Game Show Sony came up with a special and dazing price drop of PS4 across Japan. On September 18, 2015 Xbox head Phil Spencer interacted with IGN about the recent price drop of PlayStation 4 in Japan.

Phil at IGN studio said,”I fully expected a price drop from them[PlayStation]. When I think about playbook they’ve used in the past, we feel good about the plans we have in the place going forward in the holiday. If history tells, we will soon see a price drop coming from in the west.”

Meanwhile other PlayStation users across the world excluding Japan are expecting price drop in their regions. Phil Spencer also mentioned about the same,”May be we could see a price drop at Paris Game Show and PlayStation Experience in San Francisco “.

Well it sounds like Phil has plans to execute and need not necessarily be afraid of Sony’s price drop challenges. Phil also said,”It’s great for gamers when price competition happens. We saw that last holiday, and we saw crazy sales numbers on all of the consoles.”

PS4 released in 2013 priced at $350 and initially Xbox One priced at $500 with kinect camera and later it dropped to $400 and then to $350 which doesn’t include any kinect camera. Well do you expect a price drop of PS4 across Europe at Paris Game Show this October?

This November Xbox One will update itself with Xbox 360 backward compatibility, so we could possibly expect a price drop on games but not on consoles, however according to Phil statement at IGN we could expect a great price competition between Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox One.
