Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Launched In India

So the Gaming Central Team attended the Launch for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in Delhi on the 23rd of March in Taj Palace. Needless to say it was quite an event and Samsung pretty much cut all the stops to ensure that this launch was nothing short of an absolute success.

The event started with the keynote speech which had a few of the senior management members showcasing different aspects of the phone that make this arguably the best smart phone in the market right now. From the camera to display to the AI these phones have it all. Comparisons to the iPhone regarding its camera quality were shown and how Samsung’s latest line up wins in this regard. Another presentation also showed how India had a part in making the S6 and S6 Edge, which again was quite interesting to know.

Of course the first thing I did was open up any game I could find, and to my surprise I managed to get Spider Man Unlimited. The display on the Galaxy S6 Edge was brilliant, as expected. For those who think that  the curve on the edges of the phone are not required, trust me I didn’t think so either but it certainly does look damn cool. These images below should give you a fair idea as to what this curve looks like on the phone

The phones can last for about 4 hours in just a 10 minute charge which is something that I thought was quite cool and pretty handy actually. The wireless charging feature was also mentioned but its not something that has caught on yet. The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge both come with Microsoft apps preloaded.
