ASidCast in collaboration with Techarx and RevCo are announcing a follow up to their first community gaming event, NerdMeet. NerdMeet 1.5, as it’s being titled this time around, will be taking place on the 26th of January in Kolkata at Bika Banquet, Kolkata. Gates will open 10 AM and the event will run till 3 PM.
The event is being Powered by Nvidia and Sponsored by MD Computers, CoolerMaster and Zotac.
Attendees will need to register for the event before coming or they can register on spot during the event day. Interested people can register by going to this link right here. The gates of the event will open at 10 AM in the morning, and guests/gamers are free to enter the arena at any time. The event will start with an opening address from Aman Biswas, the creator and the mind behind ASidCast and NerdMeet. This will be followed by a short talk about the NerdMeet initiative from the brand representative from Nvidia.
The event will consist of activities such as an Over Clocking demo, an Oculus rift demo, a Gaming Panel consisting of Indian gaming industry specialist such as Rajaram Chitrigemath from Nvidia, Sanket Naik from CoolerMaster, Deepak Ojha from TalkEsports, Aman Biswas from ASidCast; an Anime panel by Kolkata Anime Club (KAC), and tournaments organized.
The rest of the day will be dedicated to Kolkata gamers enjoying and experiencing the best in gaming. Attendees of NerdMeet will get a chance to experience the latest and top trending hardware currently available in the gaming industry such as the PlayStation 4, high end PCs powered by Nvidia graphic cards and the Oculus Rift.
Gamers will also get a chance to get their hands on the latest games on PC. Console exclusive games such as Infamous Second Son, Driveclub and others will also be present.
The event is going to be a casual community event, and so gamers attending the event will not be left waiting to get their hands on a game for long. Also, Anyone who visits NerdMeet 1.5 will have chance to win goodies such as exclusive posters for the latest games, free Steam codes and other cool stuff sponsored by various partners of NerdMeet.
