Microsoft has come out with two brand new trailers for its upcoming sci-fi shooter Halo 5: Guardians. First seen on the official Xbox YouTube account, the trailers also confirm the game’s release date as the 27th of October this year on Xbox One.
Microsoft had also post on the Xbox twitter account tweets for each trailer, with the text saying that they are two sides of the same story. One shows Master Chief and the other features newcomer Spartan Locke (video below), who refers to Master Chief as “the one who was supposed to save us all.”
Last week Microsoft had released a “Hunt the Truth” teaser website for Halo 5: Guardians which only offered vague new details about the upcoming game.
It is confirmed that Agent Locke would be a playable character in Halo 5 and Cortana will make an appearance in the game as well.
