The release date for Forza Motorsport 6 has now been confirmed for holiday 2015, Microsoft executive Aaron Greenberg has confirmed.
We expected a release this fall since the Xbox One game was announced in January, but this time Microsoft has actually announced when the game is to come out.
Greenberg mentioned the release window as part of the latest Inner Circle podcast. Other Xbox One exclusives scheduled for this holiday release from Microsoft include Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fable Legends, Halo 5: Guardians and Quantum Break.
This list is likely to expand as Microsoft has this knack of announcing new projects at its summer shows like E3 and Gamescon.
Microsoft had officially announced Forza 6 back in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The game is still in development at series steward Turn 10 Studios and will feature the all-new Ford GT as the cover
The game will also feature other Ford muscle cars including the Shelby GT350 Mustang and the F-150 Raptor.
