EA Sports have updated their the box are for the upcoming edition of FIFA. Football sensations Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale are the two stars to feature on the cover, the only change being the appearance of a Real Madrid jersey on the cover.
Bale was initially depicted in his previous club, Tottenham Hotspur’s jersey. But on the day of the transfer deadline Spurs sealed the deal with Real Madrid which in turn made Bale the most expensive player in football history.
This change means that there will be two Spanish clubs on the cover. And this also means that for the first time in the FIFA series, no Premier League stars are going to be present on the box art of the game.
FIFA’14 is set for release in America on September 24th and in Europe on the 27th, and will launch on old and current gen consoles PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.
