Ubisoft will go on to make a sequel to Far Cry 3, said Senior VP of marketing and sales Tony Key.
“It’s a great brand, and now it’s got the recognition it deserves, so we’re clearly going to make another one: more on that soon,” said Key to Gamespot. He also said that they have received a lot of recognition from combined retail and digital sales around 6 million as of May, which makes this game one of Ubisoft’s best games with Assassin’s Creed 3 and Just Dance 4.
The recent spinoff to Far Cry 3, “Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon” was released in April and has proven to be quite something. Having got lots of reception in very little time, this game was also featured in our list of top 8 games released up to now this year.
