Dead Rising 3 has been banned from being released in Germany by the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle. Capcom Vancouver’s Xbox One launch game apparently did not receive an age rating during its software regulation review, according to Games Welt and confirmed to Destructoid by Microsoft.
Traditionally speaking, video game violence is constantly under the scanner and is always kept on a close watch. Dead Rising’s absurd, over-the-top gore has prevented Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 from publishing in Germany previously.
