As Battlefield 1 nears its release date, people are waiting in anticipation as to what the game will bring in its novel World War I setting. The first World War ushered in the armoured tank as we know it today, and it was the first war to feature such a massive scale aircraft warfare. In the gameplay video, DICE team help in providing us a little historical context for the game’s vehicular combat, as well as why they put the tanks behind a specific class.
The video follows another one, released previously, that focuses all on weapons. Battlefield 1 releases on 21st October, close to Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and the debates about which shooter will turn out to be the better one are getting more and more heated, with fans of both franchises having strong opinions, which in turn only adds to the existing hype.
