Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Reveal Highlights

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate: Reveal Highlights

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was revealed last night, and it looks amazing. Despite Ubisoft’s fumble with Unity, we are so very excited for the next in the series. I mean, it’s Assassin’s Creed, the series has had it’s hooks in gamers from the get-go.

Well, we pored over the trailer and small gameplay preview, and we have for you the highlights covering all you need to know about Syndicate!!

1. Grapple Hook/ Rope Launcher: Ubisoft has introduces a new rope launcher, which will definitely a fun way to traverse across London. Also it works as a zipline you can jump off of and take down your targets. This is definitely where Batman picked up his grapple hook skills!!

2. Precision Aiming: Jacob’s throwing knife moment shows how manual aim has been introduced, and this will make taking down enemies from a distance a lot more fun!

3. Turf Wars: Recapturing/liberating areas are also back in the game, with the Gang Stronghold. This has always been an exciting part of the series.

4. Grand Theft Horse-drawn Carriage: We see Jacob stealing a horse-drawn carriage, and then participating in an exciting chase/escape sequence, Red Dead Redemption-style!!

5. Full Blown Gang Wars?: The reveal shows a few seconds of two rival gangs heading to an all out gang war, depicting a more chaotic element to the game!!

6. Femme Fatale: And finally we get a female protagonist in the main series (not the minor act in China). Little has been revealed about Jacob’s sister, Evie, who will also be a playable character in Syndicate.

7. Fist Fights: Get ready to put on those knuckle-dusters, and indulge in meaty hand to hand combat. Syndicate is bringing in fist fights!!

Oh man, are we excited for more details about the Syndicate!! Let us know what were your favorite moments from the reveal in the comments below.
